Please read and abide by the following statements to ensure safety and to prolong the quality of your TES cover.

Cover Procedure:

Step 1

Inspect the area where cover is to be situated, be careful to remove any sharp materials such as glass, stone, or anything which may puncture or penetrate the cover system. We recommend hard, flat, smooth & non-abrasive surfaces only which are cleaned & maintained on a regular basis.

Step 2

Remove all packaging and carefully lay the cover on the floor. Note, the bike will enter cover from the rear and this part of the cover can be identified by the Velcro sealed flap. The front section can be identified by locating the aeration vents (cover in closed position). Once the cover is fully open you will also notice that the 2 sections are permanently joined at one end of the cover, this is the front end.

Step 3

Undo each zip on both sides to allow for a full opening of the cover system.
  • To prevent Zipper damage, insure that it is "Unzipped" all the way to front.
  • Never allow the top lid to pull directly against the "Zipper Pull" this will cause damage that IS NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY!
Once unzipped extend the cover fully by lifting the top section and lay it out towards the front end of the cover – the cover should now look like 2 pieces fully extended joined by stitching at the front end.

Step 4

Ensure the base section is smoothed out and push the motorcycle on ensuring the positioning of the bike is slightly right of centre to allow for a side-stand lean left. Extreme care should be taken to position the rubber stand plate centre to the stand itself, ensure that once the stand is down the bike is not off balance and it can rest safely.

Step 5

The top section of the cover can now be pulled over and zipped up. Care should be taken to ensure any part of the cover or lining does not catch/snag the instruments or apparatus as this may cause damage to the cover or the vehicle.

Step 6

To ensure complete enclosure & good working order the zip weather flap should now be sealed over the zip mechanism to ensure the zip is not exposed. Only the zip pull tabs should now be visible.

Note:

When making use of the Velcro flap feature care should be taken during the open & close process to ensure you insert or extract equipment in line with the intended process. =TES= Recommend the use of silica gel or other desiccant to ensure long lasting premium conditions are present inside the cover.

Cover care tips:

Do's

DO: Ensure a suitable stand plate is used and checked for good condition before every use.

DO: Ensure the bike stand is smooth and not sharp when in contact with the stand plate.

DO: Ensure the stand angle is flat and stand is central to plate when in rest position.

DO: Ensure the stand plate position is checked and manually adjusted (if required) before each use.

DO: Ensure cover system is used on a hard, flat, smooth & non-abrasive surface.

DO: Inspect surface before every use for potentially sharp materials and remove so as not to damage the cover.

DO: Ensure location of cover is situated in areas of good drainage and not at risk of standing water.

DO: Clean cover by brushing (when dry) and wiping with a damp cloth or sponge at regular intervals.

DO: Check your bike at regular intervals to ensure no presence of condensation. If condensation occurs allow to vent.

DO: For longer storage period us silica gel or other desiccant to ensure long lasting premium conditions.

Dont's

DONT: Alow the top lid to pull directly against the "Zipper Pull" this will cause damage that IS NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY! Your zipper was NOT designed to hold the cover closed, It must be unzipped all the way to front so that that when pulling lid over bike, the lid does not pull against the actual Zipper pull mechanism.

DON’T: Allow the bike stand or any potentially sharp objects to touch/rest on the cover system at anytime for risk of penetration.

DON’T: Use a stand plate that shows evidence of damage or poor condition. Replace immediately.

DON’T: Use cover system on soft or unstable ground like grass, gravel, mud etc..

DON’T: Allow cover system to be used in areas of standing water or where there is a risk of developing.

DON’T: Clean cover by machine wash – this cover system is not machine washable.

DON’T: Leave cover system in open position when not in use – this will allow dirt inside the cover, which may cause damage.

DON’T: Rest objects on top of cover or fold with sharp crease’s as this may damage the PU coating and material.

DON’T: Use the cover system without a suitable stand plate.

Note for center stand use:

If you use the main center stand, a protective plate may not be supplied with your cover. In this case, you should ensure the base plate sourced is capable of taking the entire weight of the motorcycle.  The protective plate should spread the weight out evenly & across a large area to ensure no undue pressure is caused on the base section – Failure to adhere will risk penetration and failure of the cover system.  We would suggest a hard shatterproof material such as polypropylene, thick rubber, wood or aluminum. Care should always be taken as instructed above ensuring the stand plate is always in good, clean working order before use.
